I was never "fat" per se - I actually exercized a lot before I was eating raw. I've also been using my own body's resistance, as you suggested, for curls, neck exercises, abs, and a host of shoulder exercises. I dont know why I ever went to the gym! This is developing my muscles so much more evenly. I recently hugged a friend I hadn't seen in awhile, and he immediately asked if I had been in the gym - said my arms and shoulders felt strong - he noticed this from a 2 second side hug!

On Tuesday of this week -- I "tried" out the Lightning Speed Exercise prior to my first client workout did 50 reps no problem at all then did 50 with the first client felt a bit of fatigue and 10 with the second for a total of about over a 3 hour period.
While I had some muscle fatigue during the last round - I was totally unprepared for the lactic acid build up I had and the accompanying soreness. I haven't been this sore since the last time I ran a mile hilly road race for which I hadn't properly trained. Roger's note: You won't get this soreness if you start out gradually and build up. I feel very comfortable working out at Planet Fitness. It's a great price, clean machines, good people at the desk and I love the 30 minute circuit. There are all sizes of bodies and ages that come to the gym. I am upgrading to the Black Card because I am traveling this summer and it will let me in anywhere. The manager at planet fitness at midway and us1 Fort Pierce Delilah is so unprofessional and rude, St Lucie Country has stopped the mask Mandate for almost a month now, yet she is harassing members demanding that they wear a mask on the gym floor, I am ready to quit this gym because of the harassment, it has become so uncomfortable whenever she is at work.
I started going and enjoyed working out and then with the new trainer. I observed people not wiping down equipment after usage.
Even though there are things in place, some members were not compliant. I stayed away for 2 months still paying after the spike of the virus. I said to the staff that I don't want to get sick so I would like to cancel my membership for now. Plantet Fitness has to do better to make people feel comfortable and safe using their facilities. I am considered as a senior and I want to live a long healthy life. It's to bad that I have to forego the gym.
Moreover, I told the staff that Planet Fitness should have at least prorated my membership charges due to the fact that I stopped my membership because people not being compliant at their facility. Not masking up properly, Not sanitizing after themselves. Afraid of getting covid there. I had given Planet Fitness a great review in the beginning but I saw too many things that needs tightening up. This Company is the worse. Myself and my spouse have never joined Planet fitness, but did join fitness Our gym closed down completely.
However, Planet fitness started charging their membership to both myself and my spouse. I contacted them and explained I've never join your gym and want a complete refund. I was told they bought out fitness 19 contracts.
I explained I was month to month with fitness 19 and had no contract. I was then told I need to call ABC fitness solutions because they handle billing. I call and ABC say's they can't do anything!!! I have to have planet fitness handle it.
I am so frustrated with this and they are scammers. My bank is now involved too. I guarantee I will make sure I spread the word on this scam. Weekend front desk employee is always friendly and helpful. I spoke with a manager once, I believe his name is Ash and he too was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this location. I like the Location on Jamaica Avenue, the exercising equipment is fine the personal is good,courteous. The place that could use some improvement is the locker room. Not enough. This was my 3rd day back to work out with the Pandemic still going on.
The last 2 days I felt absolutely fine. Today was a different matter! Well today I saw a couple men wearing muscle shirts! They used to be not allowed? Second I was very uncomfortable when a man in a muscle shirt had a head hoodie on that covered his whole head and his neck and not the sweatshirt kind either! He did have a face mask on. The combination concealed his whole face! I felt very uncomfortable so I left and didn't even finish my workout! This kind of attire should NOT be allowed it is not athletic attire!
Not sure I will return! To be a member is as easy as you flip your hand. But to cancel your membership is ridiculously hard and annoying. You can be a member by applying online and come there to get your membership card. The smith machines are absolutely worthless and a danger to wrist joints!
If you re rack your weights you basically have to sacrifice your wrists to do so. I seriously hate this company with all my heart. I have been paying for membership for over 2 years and not being able to use it. I got orders to deploy on short notice and since I had to go to Atlanta from San Antonio, I figured I could just cancel my membership when I was there because I have premium membership.
I had no time for that at all before leaving. No other gym franchise does this. Good equipment, clean, nice staff. They will not accept cash or credit card without the bank numbers. They claim no one will be able to hack or see your numbers.
Their policy does not guarantee to reimburse you in the event they were hacked or someone used that routing number to withdraw funds from your bank account. They were unwilling to accept any other condition including monthly cash payment and ID check. You still need to sign in electronically, so does not seem a stretch that your payment status could be checked at the same time, which occurs at other gyms.
At the end, the attitude was mostly thats the policy, no other payment is allowed and no apology. Suggest use alternate gyms in the area. The answer is have a nice day!!!!!! I have been told they dont own the TV's just rent them. I have been told they rent the equipment.
This place is a joke!!! One year later they still take money from our account I have to constantly keep disputing changes with my bank so freaking annoying!!!! PF is the best ever.
